About The Position
The Frame Sales Coordinator ensures accuracy in day-to-day operations related to product offerings and wood capabilities. The role facilitates clear communication between production and manufacturing teams and customers, maintains a complex understanding of the ordering system, works with little to no direction, and contributes positively to the team. The coordinator processes incoming orders and information for production planning and pricing, maintains planning and reporting documents, provides pricing and price codes, and communicates schedule updates, backorders, timelines, and price changes to customers. The role also supports production planning, assists the sales team with quotes, maintains quote records, and answers the customer service phone line.
Requirements
- Strong leadership, oral and written presentation and communication skills.
- Team-player mentality, ability to multitask efficiently, self-motivation, and a contributing attitude.
- Ability to stay organized and calm while managing projects efficiently.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience within manufacturing and supply chain distribution environments.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced-level Excel skills; proficient knowledge of Excel is required.
- Inside sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Take in orders and process information used for production planning and pricing.
- Update production planning documents and reporting documents to reflect incoming orders.
- Notify customers when they are close to certain price points.
- Provide pricing and price codes based on order volume and customer.
- Generate reports from the ERP system and manipulate data in Excel.
- Communicate schedule updates, backorder situations, and timelines between production and customers.
- Update price changes in the ERP system and communicate changes to customers.
- Work with the sales team on switches or changes in order volume and frequency as part of production planning.
- Assist sales by providing customer quotes and organize and save quotes for future reference.
- Answer the customer service phone line and assist customers according to their needs.
