As a Fragrance Sales Associate, you create a welcoming environment through genuine hospitality and exceptional customer service. You make personalized fragrance recommendations based on customers’ style, mood, and preferences; demonstrate and sell fragrances and related beauty products; and educate customers about fragrance notes, layering techniques, and usage. You build customer relationships, anticipate needs, and provide attentive service. You help prepare and maintain the sales floor, stay informed about sales goals, new arrivals, best-selling products, trends, and promotions, and engage customers in friendly conversations. You maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages and testers and selected merchandise for vendor return, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. You promote loyalty benefits, help acquire customers by opening credit accounts, and work collaboratively with teammates to achieve sales and store results. The position requires flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled for 30 or more hours per week; schedules include weekend shifts, and hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. The role involves frequent use of point-of-sale and mobile selling technology and the physical activities described in the requirements.
