About The Position

ClerkMinutes is a SaaS platform built for municipal clerks, helping local governments streamline the creation, management, and distribution of meeting minutes. We serve many hundreds of municipalities across the US, replacing slow, manual processes with a modern, easy-to-use tool designed specifically for municipal clerks in local government. We're a SaaS company serving local government (govtech) currently at $700K ARR and growing at 220% year-over-year. We're looking to hit $3M ARR in the next 18 months. This role owns the marketing function end-to-end and is accountable to revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Experience in helping scale a B2B or B2G SaaS company through a similar growth stage (ideally from $1M to $3M ARR or more).
  • Understanding of how to grow a product-led or trial-driven SaaS business.
  • Experience in a market where the buyer is not a typical tech audience (govtech, edtech, or similarly relationship-driven verticals are a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Building and executing the marketing strategy to reach $3M ARR.
  • Owning the full marketing funnel: awareness, demand generation, trial conversion, and expansion.
  • Coordinating and directing a design team and an ads agency.
  • Driving MRR growth, pipeline volume, trial starts, trial-to-paid conversion rate, and cost per acquisition.
