About the position
YETI is seeking a Finance Analyst to support their Supply Chain organization. Reporting to the Operations Finance Director, this individual will work closely with the Supply Chain leadership team and be responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis activities. The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to synthesize data, and make sound business recommendations. Effective communication with both finance and supply chain teams is essential. The Finance Analyst will also be involved in budgeting, variance analysis, and driving initiatives to improve inventory and reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Review weekly/monthly transportation and warehousing reports and analyze costs
- Ensure accurate recording of costs and explain any variances compared to plan and prior periods
- Collaborate with 3rd Party Freight audit provider to adapt GL coding of transportation spend
- Consolidate monthly product cost changes across YETI's supplier base and report variances to budget
- Prepare consolidated monthly inventory reports for finance, accounting, and operations teams
- Set and manage departmental OpEx and CapEx budgets in collaboration with operational owners
- Facilitate month-end reporting of actual spend and variance analysis
- Analyze monthly financial and operational results and interpret current month performance as a predictive tool
- Collaborate with Corporate FP&A team for annual budgeting and monthly forecast process
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and create presentations for senior management
- Lead projects and initiatives to improve inventory reporting and outbound freight reporting
- Segment transportation spend vs. customs and duties spend
