Founding GTM Lead

Mobena,
$170,000 - $200,000Hybrid

About The Position

Join as employee #4 and turn Mobena's client-facing GTM function into a repeatable system — serving ultra-wealthy families and the advisors they trust. ABOUT MOBENA Wealthy families make their biggest decisions — sell the business, fund the trust, move to Florida — on numbers their software guessed at. Mobena exists to end that. After-tax planning for complex families. Mobena brings income tax, estate tax, and financial modeling into a single workflow for wealthy families and their advisors. Clients enter a family's people, entities, assets, and planned transactions to see the after-tax impact of major decisions before they act. Mobena was founded by David Rosen — a tax attorney, CPA, and Bloomberg Tax Author of the Year. The company is three people today. Family offices are testing the platform, and Mobena will demo at FinovateFall in New York in September 2026. Visit mobena.com [http://mobena.com]. See the tax. Own your future.

Requirements

  • Owned sophisticated client relationships in wealthtech, taxtech, family-office technology, or another complex B2B software environment.
  • Understand how software moves from purchase to sustained adoption.
  • Financial advisor or CPA who has worked with ultra-high-net-worth families and is ready to move from professional services into a software operating role.
  • Excited by customer success and consultative sales — and by building client relationships without the billable hour.
  • Follow through quickly, retain context, anticipate needs, and make clients feel understood.
  • Can explain complex financial and tax concepts clearly, but know when to bring in an expert.
  • Wants to own high-touch client relationships and build the system with us.
  • Founder-stage ambiguity, high standards, and difficult client problems.
  • Want to help build the GTM playbook, but not inherit a finished one.
  • Responsibility and pace of being an early startup employee.
  • U.S. work authorization is required.

Nice To Haves

  • The client-service foundation exists; a formal sales motion does not. You will build the repeatable path from first interest to signed, retained client.
  • The person who builds and owns this function at four people is positioned to lead it when Mobena has thirty.
  • You will influence the product we are building and the organization we are growing.

Responsibilities

  • Own relationships with wealthy families. Serve as the primary point of contact for each family, family office, and advisor; understand their structure and people; and anticipate the next interaction.
  • Help clients make complexity visible. Guide families and their advisors — from onboarding through renewal — as they enter people, entities, trusts, assets, and planned transactions and use Mobena to see the after-tax impact. Clients build and maintain their own models; Mobena guides, trains, and supports them.
  • Build the sales and growth motion. Create the process, standards, and playbooks Mobena will use as it scales.
  • Make exceptional service the growth engine. Lead consultative meetings with prospects from David's network, referrals from families you serve, conferences, and inbound interest. Expect approximately 25% domestic travel for conferences, team meetings, and client meetings.
  • Bring the hardest family-office questions into the product. Work directly with the founding executive team each week so product priorities reflect recurring client questions and needs. You will also work closely with our co-founder Justin on process, tooling, and day-to-day accountability.

Benefits

  • $120,000–$140,000 base; $170,000–$200,000 on-target earnings; founding equity of 0.25%–0.5%.
  • Target earnings are guaranteed for the first six months while you ramp.
  • Incentives will reward conversion of existing opportunities, onboarding, adoption, and retention.
  • A healthcare stipend will be available to you if you need individual coverage.
  • We will discuss the stipend and benefits roadmap during the first conversation.
