GenMD is unlocking healthcare data at scale. Today, roughly 97% of healthcare data goes unused because of patient privacy concerns. We’ve found a way to unlock that data—safely and ethically—for AI labs, pharma companies, and researchers. We provide the core infrastructure that enables better drugs, faster clinical trials, and more powerful medical research—the kind of foundation that makes real breakthroughs, including curing diseases, possible. Our company was built out of years inside Stanford Medicine, working closely with world-class researchers and clinicians. We have access to tens of millions of patients, longitudinal health records, and clinical notes. GenMD is just coming out of stealth, already revenue-generating, well-funded, and backed by premier investors with years of runway. We’re intentionally small, move fast, and are focused on building something fundamental. The Product We turn a health system's real patient data into privacy-preserving digital twins — synthetic records that keep the statistical structure of the original without exposing a single patient. Health systems monetize data they could never share; researchers, pharma, and AI labs get same-day access instead of waiting months on IRB and contracting. About the Role We are looking for our Founding GTM Lead to help define and accelerate our company. There is no existing growth team or established playbook to inherit. You’ll own our growth strategy—from driving researcher adoption of our Healthcare DataHub to building commercial relationships with AI labs and other organizations working with healthcare data. We are looking for a high-judgment, highly hands-on operator who is equally comfortable setting high-level strategy and rolling up their sleeves to get things done.

Requirements

4+ years in growth, GTM, sales, or an equivalent early-stage role.
Experience growing a product or business before the playbook was fully established.
Comfortable owning both product-led growth and sales.
Strong analytical instincts and ability to run fast, measurable experiments.
Comfortable selling technical products to researchers, data scientists, ML engineers, and AI teams.
High ownership—you move quickly and figure things out without waiting for a playbook.
Must be Palo Alto based.

This role understands GTM strategy, product launch processes and timelines.

Responsibilities

Grow adoption and repeat usage of our Healthcare DataHub.
Build and test acquisition, activation, referral, and partnership channels.
Develop relationships with AI labs and healthcare AI companies.
Personally run outreach, discovery, demos, pilots, and early commercial deals.
Help determine our best ICPs, positioning, packaging, and pricing.
Build the foundations of a repeatable GTM engine.
Bridge the divide between high-level product roadmaps, engineering, and GTM execution
Be a listening ear for our team and our customers, taking actions to ensure customer satisfaction with our product.
