About The Position

The Forward Deployed Engineer is a customer-facing engineer on VIDIZMO’s Sales team. The role goes beyond demonstrating product capabilities: it deploys VIDIZMO in customer environments during trials and paid pilots, builds integrations and workflows that validate customer use cases, and hands working solutions to the delivery team when deals close. The role works with account executives, partners, and the pre-sales team, reports into Sales, and is measured by pilots that convert into deals. It is not part of product engineering and does not own the product roadmap. VIDIZMO is an enterprise AI software company headquartered in Tysons, Virginia. It helps public-sector and regulated organizations search, secure, redact, analyze, and share video, audio, images, and documents in cloud, on-premises, or air-gapped environments, keeping data and AI models within the customer’s boundary. Its offerings include Nexus, Digital Evidence Management (DEMS), Enterprise Video Platform (EnterpriseTube), AI Intelligence Hub, AI Live Insight, and Redactor. More than 100 organizations use VIDIZMO across sectors including public safety and justice, government, healthcare, financial services, legal, education, transit, manufacturing, and energy. The engineer scopes and runs customer pilots, deploys trial portals in the customer’s chosen environment, integrates customer identity, storage, business, and records systems, and builds scripts, configurations, and workflows using APIs, webhooks, and connectors. The role also supports camera and video-management-system onboarding, AI detection configuration, GPU sizing, AI workflow setup, redaction policies, pilot reporting, and customer handover. The position includes some outbound sales support, customer workshops, trade shows, and on-site pilots as needed. Candidates must be authorized to work in Pakistan and have reliable internet and a professional call space.

  • Contribute technical and architecture sections to RFPs, bids, and security questionnaires, including CJIS, HIPAA, SOC 2-style, and ISO 27001-based reviews.

  • Build no-code and low-code workflows in AI Intelligence Hub using customer data, and configure Redactor policies and confidence thresholds for customer use cases.
  • Track pilot success criteria, report progress to customers and the account team weekly, and proactively remove blockers.
  • Hand closed deals to delivery and support teams with a clear record of configurations, work completed, and agreements.
  • Turn recurring pilot work into reusable scripts, templates, and playbooks for the pre-sales team.
  • Pass customer requests and product gaps to product management with supporting evidence without building product features.
