About The Position

Endex is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work closely with customers and build software that supports successful deployments. The role develops integrations and customer-specific capabilities requiring production engineering, collaborating with deployment teams and core engineering to turn useful field solutions into reusable product patterns. The position is based primarily in New York City, with other listed locations in Denver, Chicago, Singapore (APAC), London, San Francisco, Austin, and Los Angeles. The role requires working in person five days per week.

Requirements

Experience shipping and maintaining production software.
Ability to work with APIs, authentication, and enterprise systems.
Ability to ask good questions and clearly explain technical trade-offs.
Ability to choose solutions that work within real constraints.
Ability to investigate requirements with users, make sound implementation trade-offs, and maintain code after it ships.

Nice To Haves

Python or TypeScript experience.
Experience with AI applications or agent workflows.
Experience with Python or Node.js, HTTP APIs, and enterprise identity or Office integrations.

Responsibilities

Build production code that connects Endex to customer systems and executes real workflows end to end.
Design integrations for authentication, permissions, data boundaries, and the customer's operating environment.
Test integrations, add observability and recovery behavior, and support deployed solutions through launch.
Coordinate with others on what belongs in a customer solution and what should become part of the core product.
Bring proven integration patterns and field learning back to engineering.
