Forward Deployed Engineer

Luv Bridal•American Fork, UT

About The Position

Luv Bridal is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to help build applications, integrations, data products, automations, and AI tools that support the business. This is a builder-focused role rather than a traditional IT position. The engineer will work directly with company leadership and teams to understand operational challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop practical, scalable technology solutions. Projects may include internal applications, AI-powered tools and agents, dashboards, workflow and approval systems, customer and employee applications, product-development tools, integrations, data products, and rapid prototypes. The role requires moving from business problem definition through workflow design, data, architecture, prototyping, and production. Some work will become long-term enterprise applications, while other work will be rapid experiments. Solutions should be secure, maintainable, appropriately scalable, and aligned with business needs. The technology environment includes Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Fabric and Azure, Power BI, Microsoft 365, Copilot and Copilot Studio, BridalLive retail ERP/CRM/POS, Shopify, APIs, custom applications, AI systems, and retail and business data. The engineer will collaborate with the internal technology team, company leadership, operational teams, and external technology partners. They may own projects end-to-end or work with specialists in ERP, data engineering, infrastructure, reporting, and security. The role emphasizes autonomy, accountability, clear documentation, standardized and reusable engineering, secure development, knowledge sharing, and solutions that can be supported by other qualified team members. Luv Bridal is a growing international bridal retailer, and the position offers the opportunity to shape technology decisions and build solutions with measurable impact across the organization.
