About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator at its Georgetown, Kentucky service center. The role involves safely moving different types of freight into and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long. Operators use a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock. The position starts at $23.73 and is scheduled Monday through Friday on various shifts.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely move freight into and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long using a forklift.
