About The Position
R+L Carriers is hiring full-time Forklift Operators at its Houston, Texas service center. The role involves safely moving various types of freight into and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long. Operators use a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock. The advertised starting pay is $23.52 per hour, and the schedule is Monday through Friday with various shifts.
Requirements
- Able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Ability to read manifests.
- Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
- Forklift experience.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Some LTL experience.
