About The Position
R+L Carriers is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator at its West Sacramento, California service center. The role involves safely moving various types of freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long. Operators use a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock. The position pays $25.30 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday on various shifts. Paid time off becomes available after the first 90 calendar days of employment.
Requirements
- Forklift experience.
- Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Some LTL experience.
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Ability to read manifests.
- Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
- Dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
