About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator at its Houston, Texas service center. The operator moves different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long, using a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock. The position is listed at a starting rate of $23.52 per hour and has various shifts, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Forklift experience.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
• Dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experience.
