About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator/Freight Handler at its Milton, Florida service center. The role involves safely moving different types of freight into and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long. Operators work on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock. The position starts at $20.70 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday on various shifts. Employees earn one week of vacation after 90 days of employment.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience, including previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experience.

Responsibilities

• Move different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock.
