About The Position

This role involves supervising work activities in an assigned area, with a primary focus on the construction of rough and finished carpentry. The position also requires maintaining departmental cohesiveness through various administrative duties. A significant portion of the role includes being a member of the bomb squad and fire brigade, ensuring adequate inventory of materials and supplies, and demonstrating excellent customer service through a positive attitude, proper telephone procedures, and proactive response to customer needs. The Foreman is expected to be a team player, adhere to dress codes, be prompt and reliable, maintain low noise levels, and consistently lead by example. This role also involves inter-disciplinary problem-solving, informing supervisors of activity status and challenges, and readily providing new information and suggestions. Additionally, the Foreman must attend required staff meetings and in-services, share information, seek clarification, identify self-learning needs, and assist in orienting others.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years Operations - Carpenter Required.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required, or 2 Years of Trade School Related Field Required.
