This program offers challenging opportunities for foreign-educated pharmacy graduates to learn and grow professionally within CVS Health's Retail locations. The goal is to transform healthcare by improving access, lowering costs, and being a trusted partner. As a US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate, upon passing the FPGEE and TOEFL, you will complete required US Internship hours, apply your pharmacy school learning to real-world practice, and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor's direction, you will engage in a mixed modality learning plan to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities. The internship must be completed within 18 months, with licensure exams and processes to be completed within 120 days of finishing the internship. Through hands-on experience, a training roadmap, Key Learning Experiences (KLEs), and leadership interaction, you will deepen your understanding of pharmacy practice, patient care, business acumen, and leadership skills. You will assist the pharmacy team in ensuring smooth operations, accurate prescription fulfillment, and excellent patient service. Learning involves consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and effective communication. Empathy, genuine care, and contribution to a safe and inclusive culture are emphasized. Responsibilities include adhering to SOPs, following pharmacy workflow procedures, contributing to positive patient experiences, offering patient counseling, taking and clarifying telephonic prescriptions, providing in-the-moment coaching, completing inventory activities, contributing to a high-performing team, remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs, and complying with all relevant laws and regulations. Graduates may also support immunizations after completing additional training and licensure.
