About The Position

CVS Health’s US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduates support retail pharmacy teams while developing the skills needed to progress toward a Pharmacist role. After passing the FPGEE and TOEFL, eligible graduates complete required US internship hours and apply their pharmacy-school learning in practice. Under a preceptor’s direction, interns follow a mixed-modality learning plan, participate in pharmacy practice and patient-care experiences, build business acumen, and develop leadership skills. They are required to complete the internship within 18 months and complete and pass required Pharmacist licensure exams and processes within 120 days after completing the internship hours. Failure to meet these requirements results in separation of employment. Where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, the intern may provide additional patient health services, including immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinic support. Where permissible, the intern may also complete requirements for Technician Immunizer status and support vaccine preparation and administration under applicable rules.
