About The Position

The Sales Outfitter supports a welcoming, productive shopping experience by greeting customers promptly and courteously, handling merchandise carefully, and providing product information, assistance, and direction. The role demonstrates products, helps customers make informed buying decisions, promotes programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up, and maintains product knowledge through ongoing training. The associate also replenishes and restocks merchandise, maintains pricing and signage, assists with seasonal floor merchandise moves, and keeps the work area clean, neat, and supplied. Work is performed under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and make recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience.
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
Ability to communicate with customers and associates in a friendly, professional manner.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate customer needs and make product recommendations.
Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines.
Maintain awareness of advertised sales, pricing, and signage.
Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
