About The Position
Delivers food, supplies, and other products to units and areas of service using a vehicle. The position is based at Base Power in Austin, Texas, and is full-time, Monday through Friday, with a schedule of either 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Previous driving experience is required. Pay is $19.00 to $20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Previous driving experience.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Operate company vehicles safely in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
- Valid food handler's permit where required.
Responsibilities
- Pick up requisitioned supplies from the staging clerk.
- Receive completed production orders from the staging clerk and inventory items to ensure the orders are complete.
- Load orders onto the truck safely and orderly, with assistance from staging clerks.
- Unload requisitioned materials at delivery sites.
- Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment.
- Keep hot and cold food items compliant with company standards and sanitation and safety requirements.
- Collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise.
- Maintain the general cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.
- Perform routine maintenance on the truck.
- Interact with coworkers to ensure company service standards.
- Provide quality customer service through one-on-one attention to detail.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
