Food Services Rep
About The Position
INTEGRIS Health is hiring a full-time Food Services Rep at INTEGRIS Health Edmond in Edmond, Oklahoma. The role oversees daily activities in the tray line, dish room, and patient care areas involved in preparing and serving patient meals and nourishments. The position follows applicable National Patient Safety Goals based on the level of patient contact. The Food Services Rep reports to the Food Service Operations Lead. The role involves exposure to wet surfaces, hot equipment, and chemicals, and requires following standard precautions. Additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit-test requirements may apply.
Requirements
- Sufficient education to read, write, comprehend, and carry out directions.
- Follow standard precautions.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of work experience related to menu categories, tray checking, equipment, and operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Obtain food items, supplies, and serving utensils needed for tray assembly.
- Assemble trays according to patient menu selections and specified standard portions.
- Deliver trays and food carts within established time frames.
- Supervise delivery and retrieval of patient meals, including late trays.
- Communicate with nursing staff about issues relevant to patient meal service and take appropriate action.
- Oversee daily activities in the tray line, dish room, and patient care areas necessary for preparing and serving patient meals and nourishments.
- Adhere to applicable National Patient Safety Goals.
