Food Services Manager
About The Position
New Horizon Foods is seeking a Dining Services Manager in Rochester, Michigan. The manager will lead the dining department team and oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, food service, and EVS services and staff. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and experience with cooking and running a kitchen. EVS experience is preferred. New Horizon Foods is a dining contract company that tailors its services to each location and client. It has operated for more than 30 years and provides services in more than 10 states. Requirements
- Prior culinary experience.
- Prior experience running the day-to-day operations of a kitchen.
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.

- EVS experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop menus within provided guidelines.
- Order supplies and maintain inventory.
- Hire and develop team members.
- Assist with meal preparation and serving.
- Ensure food is presented attractively and appetizingly.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
- Manage EVS services and staff.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other management and the client.
