About The Position

The Food Services Driver works in the Food Services department at the Burnet Campus, delivering food items, goods, and supplies to various locations. The role includes safely operating and inspecting a company vehicle, stocking and organizing inventory, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining clean, orderly workspaces. The driver interacts professionally with customers and adapts to changing delivery routes and schedules. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week on a day shift, with weekend and holiday availability as needed.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a delivery or stocking role is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver goods and supplies while following traffic laws and company policies.
Deliver food items accurately and on time while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to keep the vehicle in optimal condition.
Stock and organize inventory in storage areas, ensuring items are labeled and stored properly.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety and hygiene standards.
Interact with customers courteously during deliveries and promptly address concerns or issues.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Be available for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Adapt to changing delivery routes and schedules based on business needs, using flexibility and problem-solving skills.
