About The Position
This temporary Food Services Aide I position is a 6–12 month assignment. The role supports patient meal service and kitchen operations, including preparing and delivering patient trays, maintaining floor-stock items, washing and storing dishes, and keeping the kitchen clean while following sanitation and food safety guidelines. Responsibilities
- Deliver patient meals.
- Answer calls from patients requesting food.
- Prepare patient trays for delivery.
- Take inventory of floor-stock items and replenish them.
- Retrieve finished trays from patient areas and bring them to the kitchen.
- Operate a dish machine to wash dishes and other items.
- Put away clean dishes and other items.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
- Uphold strict sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Help fellow employees complete the day's work as a team.
