About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is hiring an on-call Food Service Worker at Providence Health Colby in Everett, Washington. The position prepares, presents, and serves food as needed, supporting patients, caregivers, and the community while maintaining quality, service, food safety, and sanitation standards. Days and hours may vary; schedule details are provided during the interview.

Requirements

At least 1 year of previous food service experience.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Prepare fruits and vegetables by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding them.
Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food between work stations, stoves, and refrigerators according to safety standards.
Store food in designated areas, following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure food quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, following outlined service steps.
Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
Follow company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
