Food Service Worker - Trayline (U), Full-Time
About The Position
The Food Service Worker prepares patient meals safely and sanitarily, maintains safe and sanitary workspaces, and performs patient room service and trayline duties at UHealth Tower. The role includes making and delivering courtesy trays, portioning food according to menu specifications and established guidelines, correctly performing dish room procedures, cleaning and sanitizing pots and pans, and breaking down equipment using appropriate procedures. The employee follows University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. Duties may be expanded or adjusted to meet departmental needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
- Commitment to the University’s core values.
- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
