About The Position

The Food Service Worker – Trayline assists in preparing and serving food to infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their family members. The role is based in Newark, New Jersey, and is full-time.

Responsibilities

• Delivers meals and snacks according to policy and procedure.
• Retrieves patient meal trays according to policy and procedure.
• Uses knowledge of growth and development when serving patients across infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups.
• Communicates with patients in a manner appropriate to their developmental and cognitive level.
• Formulates patient meal supplements and nourishment.
