Food Service Worker (Part Time)
About The Position
Culinary Services Group is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker at Northwest Ohio Behavioral Healthcare in Toledo, Ohio. The role prepares, presents, and serves food as needed. The schedule is part time, with days that may vary, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm; weekend availability is required. No prior experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $17.50 per hour. The Food Service Worker performs food preparation, follows recipes and production standards, serves customers, maintains food and work areas safely and hygienically, and follows service, inventory, and cash-control procedures. The position requires the ability to perform essential functions satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Prepare food, including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food between work stations, the stove, and the refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
- Store food in designated areas, following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
- Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
- Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure food quality, proper serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner while following outlined steps of service.
- Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
- Follow company service standards and inventory and cash-control procedures.
- Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
