About The Position

The Food Service Worker prepares, presents, and serves food as needed at Abilene Christian University. The role pays $14.50 to $16.50 per hour and includes free shift meals, free parking, and on-the-job training. The worker prepares ingredients, measures designated portions, transports food and equipment safely, stores food according to food-safety and rotation procedures, and cleans work areas and utensils. The position also involves serving customers courteously, addressing customer concerns, following recipes and portion standards, and complying with service, inventory, cash-control, sanitation, and safety requirements. Other duties may be assigned. Because the position is in an educational facility, work may be reduced or paused during school breaks, potentially resulting in unpaid temporary layoffs.
