About The Position

Eurest is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker at Cafe 111, 111 South Wacker, Chicago, Illinois. The role prepares, presents, and serves food as needed. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, with hours that may vary. Applicants must have experience in a coffee bar, full-service restaurant, quick-service restaurant, and/or full-service bar. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the openings are filled. The pay range is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Experience in a coffee bar, full-service restaurant, quick-service restaurant, and/or full-service bar.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fruits and vegetables by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding them.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food between work stations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas using wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure food quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner while following outlined service steps.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
• Follow company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
