About The Position

Culinary Services Group is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker at Haymount Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The role prepares, presents, and serves food as needed. No prior experience is required; training is available. The position pays $12.25 per hour and provides a uniform, training and growth opportunities, free parking, and no late nights. Days and hours may vary, multiple shifts are available, and rotating weekends are required. More scheduling details are provided during the interview.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, the stove, and the refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas, following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, following outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
