About The Position

Performs a variety of food preparation and production assignments and related cleaning duties while providing a high level of customer service and working toward an outstanding customer experience. The role is based on-site at Virtua Health's Mount Holly location and is classified as per diem, part-time, with a second-shift schedule. The worker may be required to work off-site.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, prepare or produce, clean, and serve food and related products.
• Ensure products delivered for use within the Food Service Department are accurate and intact, and put them away in appropriate locations.
• Handle and store products safely according to applicable guidelines.
• Follow recipes, production standards, and assigned tasks.
• Assemble trays and plates according to customer needs.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment according to established guidelines.
• Assist customers in person and by phone, and handle cash transactions according to cash-handling policies.
• Follow applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively to identify issues and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Work off-site when required.
