Food Service Worker I Per Diem, Evenings
About The Position
Responsible for patient nutrition care activities in the Dietary department. Duties include setting up food in the cafeteria according to duty lists and department standards, serving meals to customers, and cleaning and sanitizing according to department standards. The role also participates in department and hospital performance-improvement activities, team and department meetings, and required or mandatory in-services. The worker must comply with hospital and department policies and procedures, including food-safety regulatory standards, and perform other duties as assigned. Flexibility of hours is required.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Flexibility of hours is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduation or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Prior food service training or experience is preferred.
