The position also includes stocking patient floor kitchens, serving guests with a focus on positive customer relations, replenishing supplies, performing sanitation duties, and handling dish room tasks. Additionally, the role may involve collecting payments for guest trays, processing food sales transactions as a cashier in the Cafeteria, and setting up/serving meals for various dining outlets including corporate retail, catering, and the Doctors Dining Room. Buffet and reception table decoration may also be assigned. This position is crucial for ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of customers through high-quality food preparation and service, or by supporting coworkers in these efforts.
