Food Service Worker I (Shift 5:30 am - 2:00 pm)

About The Position
The Food Service Worker Level 1 may perform a range of food-service roles, including cashier, meal service attendant, trayline attendant, food preparation, utility-dishroom, nutrition assistant, or patient ambassador. The position supports food distribution and other assigned duties while following safety and food-handling procedures. The listed shift is 5:30 am–2:00 pm, on any day of the week.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
- 0 to 3 years of related work experience is preferred.
- Employees must be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella.
- Employees must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.

Responsibilities
- Report accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
- Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
- Comply with Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures.
- Attend designated classroom and virtual training programs.
- Work on a trayline to distribute food, as assigned.
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
