About The Position

The Food Service Utility maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly. The role supports food service operations by cleaning and sanitizing workspaces, handling supplies and equipment, and assisting with setup and deliveries while following safety and sanitation requirements. Openings are available at Cleveland Clinic - Marymount, 12300 McCracken Road, Garfield Heights, Ohio. Shifts vary and include evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Previous food and/or customer service experience is preferred. The pay range is $15.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers.
• Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and products.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
