FOOD SERVICE UTILITY (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Food Service Utility maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly. The position is based at Allergan in Madison, New Jersey, and works a full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The employer is willing to train, and previous receiving and dishwashing experience is preferred. Duties include cleaning floors and food preparation surfaces, removing and handling trash, moving supplies and equipment, assisting with banquet and front-of-house setup, receiving and delivering supplies and products, and distributing utensils and portable equipment. The position also requires compliance with sanitation and safety requirements and may include other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Previous receiving and dishwashing experience is preferred.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop floors in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and products.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
- Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
