FOOD SERVICE UTILITY (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly. The role is based at United Club C-123 - United Polaris Lounge in Newark, New Jersey. It is a full-time position with days and hours that may vary; further schedule details are provided during the interview. Previous experience is preferred. The pay range is $23.65 to $24.65 per hour. Free meals, uniforms, and laundering service are available at select locations. The position includes cleaning and maintaining kitchen and food-preparation areas, handling supplies and equipment, assisting with front-of-house and banquet setup, and following sanitation and safety requirements. Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop floors in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food-preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and delivery of supplies and products.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
- Comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
