FOOD SERVICE UTILITY (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a full-time Food Service Utility associate at Gilman School in Baltimore, Maryland. The role maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly while meeting sanitation and safety standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; further details will be provided during the interview. Previous experience is preferred. Benefits eligibility begins after 90 days. A free meal during the shift and cross-training opportunities are offered. Pay is $17.00 to $18.50 per hour. Flik Independent School Dining serves private and independent schools in more than 300 communities. Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and products.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
- Comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
