About The Position

The Food Service Utility maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly. The role supports food service operations by cleaning surfaces and floors, handling waste, moving supplies and equipment, assisting with front-of-house and banquet setup, and distributing supplies and portable equipment. The position is with Morrison Healthcare at Cleveland Clinic, 9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio. Shifts vary and include 7 a.m.–3 p.m. and 2 p.m.–10 p.m. shifts, as well as evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Online applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until openings are filled. The stated pay range is $15.00 to $17.00 per hour. Previous food and/or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers.
• Steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and products.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
