About The Position

The Food Service Utility maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly. The role is based at the Chase Sapphire Lounge at LAX in Los Angeles, California. The position is full-time, with a five-day schedule that includes weekends and holidays; schedule flexibility is required. The fixed pay rate is $32.65 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of previous experience.
Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Sweep and mop floors in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and products.
Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
