About The Position

Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring a full-time Food Service Utility associate in San Jose, California. The role maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly. The position pays $25.43 per hour. Workdays may vary, with shifts of 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM, or 12:00 PM–8:30 PM; further schedule details are provided during the interview. One year of food service utility experience is required. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

One year of food service utility experience.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Sweep and mop floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and products.
Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
