About The Position
The Food Service Technician performs food preparation, distribution, and sanitation functions in support of assigned areas at UCHealth Parkview Medical Center. The role assists with preparing food and beverages for patients, guests, service and dining areas, and catering services; storing supplies according to policy; and completing customer-facing tasks such as cashiering, tray delivery, and catering events. It also includes dishwashing and maintaining clean, safe, and orderly work and food service areas. The position requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing food and beverages for distribution to patients, guests, service and dining areas, and catering services.
- Store food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and areas according to policies and procedures.
- Assist with customer-facing duties as assigned, including cashiering, tray line delivery, and catering special events.
- Assist with sanitation duties, including dishwashing and keeping work and food service areas clean, safe, and orderly.
- Use critical thinking and decisive judgment, work with minimal supervision, and take appropriate action in a fast-paced environment.
