About The Position

NHC HealthCare Lawrenceburg is seeking a dependable, caring Food Service Tech – AM Aide to support quality meal service for patients and residents and help maintain a clean, safe, welcoming dining environment. This part-time role is scheduled for the AM shift, 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and may transition to full-time based on staffing needs and availability. The position supports meal preparation and service, tray delivery, dining-room setup, cleanup, dishwashing, food storage, and sanitation. The successful candidate will be reliable, team-oriented, and committed to courteous service.

Requirements

Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Available to work the scheduled AM shift from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Strong customer-service and communication skills.
Ability to follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced food-service environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous food-service or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparing and serving meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary instructions.
Prepare meal trays and help ensure meals are delivered accurately and on time.
Assist with breakfast and lunch preparation, service, and cleanup.
Assist with dining-room setup and maintain an organized dining environment.
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food-service equipment.
Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, storage, and food-preparation areas.
Properly store food and supplies and follow safe food-handling practices.
Follow sanitation, infection-control, safety, and NHC procedures.
Provide courteous service to patients, residents, families, visitors, and fellow partners.
Assist the dietary team with additional duties as assigned.
