About The Position
NHC Scott is seeking a dependable and caring part-time Food Service Tech to join its dietary team on the evening shift. The role supports quality meal service for patients and residents while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. The schedule is 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; pay depends on experience.
Requirements
- Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
- Availability to work scheduled evening shifts from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing and serving meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary instructions.
- Prepare meal trays and help ensure meals are delivered accurately and on time.
- Assist with dining room setup, meal service, and cleanup.
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment.
- Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, storage, and food preparation areas.
- Properly store food and supplies and follow safe food handling practices.
- Follow sanitation, infection control, safety, and NHC procedures.
- Provide courteous service to patients, residents, families, visitors, and fellow partners.
- Assist the dietary team with additional duties as assigned.
