About The Position

Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute (NVMHI) is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to work from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The position supports the recovery of individuals with serious mental illness by helping provide safe, quality, nutritious food service. The employee assists a Food Service Technician II with food preparation, cafeteria service, cleaning, and sanitation. Hourly (wage) employees may not work more than 29 hours per week and are limited to 1,500 hours per year. The posting states that these hourly positions are not eligible for benefits.

Requirements

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures.
• Knowledge of food service equipment operation and sanitation.
