About The Position

The Food Service Worker safely performs contract duties assigned by management and provides quality customer service at all times. Knowledge of and willingness to learn all aspects of the job are required. The role may involve working at various locations and buildings throughout the year, primarily indoors, and may require using cleaning chemicals. Schedules are subject to change and may include early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. The team member must follow Emergency Operations Work Assignment requirements set by the customer.

Requirements

• Understand oral and/or written instructions.
• Interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff members.
• Meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contracts.
• Pass organization screening requirements, including applicable state or federal background screenings.
• Follow schedules that may include early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
• Regularly bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above the head, sit to drive, and lift up to 40 pounds; occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Drug testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform contract duties as assigned by management.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Follow Emergency Operations Work Assignment requirements per customer requirements.
• Travel to and from various locations and buildings as needed.
• Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas using snow shovels or snowplows when required.
