Food Service Worker I - Part-time
About The Position
The Food Service Worker is responsible for safely performing contract duties assigned by management and providing quality customer service at all times. The position requires knowledge of and willingness to learn all aspects of the job. Work is primarily indoors, although the employee may travel between locations and buildings throughout the year in various weather conditions. Schedules may change and may include early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. The employee may work with cleaning chemicals and must follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment as required by the customer. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Requirements
- Understand oral and/or written instructions.
- Interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff members.
- Meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contracts.
- Pass organizational screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
- Complete required drug testing.
- Bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above the head, sit to drive, and lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
