About The Position

The Food Service Specialist prepares Pete’s Eats products at Stinker retail store locations, maintaining the company’s food program standards and helping ensure customers have appealing food options. The role uses store production lists and works with Store Leadership to align food offerings with customer demand. It also includes customer service, food safety, sanitation, product rotation, and cleaning responsibilities.

Requirements

Must be at least 19 years of age.
Solution-focused thinking.
Effective time management and ability to adapt to changing customer demand in a retail environment.
Ability to learn new concepts and stay organized, with attention to detail while multitasking.
Ability to balance on a step stool or step ladder, lift up to 50 pounds, and work from floor to eye level.
Ability to work in a cooler with an average temperature of 32 degrees.
Complete the online Food Safety class within the first 90 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

Prior food service experience.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming environment and provide customer service.
Follow food preparation and food safety guidelines, monitor food time and temperature standards, and follow required labeling, timing, storage, and handling processes.
Adhere to and track equipment cleaning and sanitation schedules.
Learn and prepare the full Pete’s Eats menu, using store production lists and working with Store Leadership to align offerings with customer demand.
Rotate products properly through the cold case and hot case.
