About The Position

The Food Service Specialist prepares Pete’s Eats food products in Stinker retail stores, maintaining the company’s food-program standards and using store production lists to ensure customers have appealing food options. The role emphasizes quality ingredients, food safety, customer service, cleanliness, and product rotation. The position is full-time, 30 to 40 hours per week, at 2332 E. Richards St., Douglas, WY 82633. The usual schedule is Thursday through Monday with flexible hours between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.; days and times may vary and include weekends, evenings, and some holidays. Stinker is a family-owned convenience retailer operating in Idaho, Colorado, and Wyoming. Requirements

Must be at least 19 years old.
Be able to balance on a step stool or step ladder, lift up to 50 pounds, and work from floor level to eye level.
Be able to work in a cooler with an average temperature of 32 degrees.
Complete the online Food Safety class within the first 90 days of employment.
Use solution-focused thinking and effective time management.
Be able to learn new concepts, stay organized, maintain attention to detail, and multitask.

Nice To Haves

Prior food service experience.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming environment and provide customer service.
Follow food-preparation guidelines and food-safety procedures, monitor food time and temperature standards, and follow labeling and timing processes.
Adhere to and track equipment-cleaning and sanitation schedules.
Learn the Pete’s Eats menu and work with Store Leadership to align store offerings with customer demand using store production lists.
Rotate products appropriately through the cold case and hot case.
