About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a part-time Food Service, Fast Food team member at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. The role prepares, presents, and serves food in a fast-food or casual setting, helping nourish patients, caregivers, and the community while maintaining high standards of quality, detail, and service. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; further details are provided during the interview. The fixed pay rate is $13.50 per hour. Previous customer service experience is preferred, and the company is willing to train. A meal plan is offered. The position involves welcoming guests, taking and relaying orders, understanding menu items and ingredients, coordinating with kitchen staff, responding to customer concerns, preparing food safely, cleaning and maintaining the work area, and handling sales transactions and cash. Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and warmly.
Take food orders and efficiently relay them to back-of-the-house staff.
Understand menu items and ingredients.
Coordinate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are addressed.
Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner; relay relevant information to a supervisor.
Cook fast-food items according to safety and safe food-handling standards.
Perform light cleaning, including sweeping and mopping, to maintain sanitation and safety standards.
Keep equipment, the work area, and facilities clean and orderly.
Perform sales transactions in a reasonable and timely manner, ring up all items sold, and obtain customer signatures.
Manage assigned change, funds, and cash receipts, ensuring the cash drawer is in compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
